Financial Management launches new comptroller service portal

The 434th Air Refueling Wing Finance Management office launched a new comptroller services portal. Grissom is one of three Air Force Reserve Command test bases going live with the new Air Force CSP on September 9th.

The portal will allow Airmen to submit and track customer service inquiries related to their military pay and allowances, according to Chris Vander Does, 434th ARW comptroller.

“With our members being from several different states, it allows them to submit pay, travel and other related FM inquiries on their schedule, whether across the base or around the world,” Vander Does said. “With the challenges of COVID, it will be another tool to provide customer service to our Airmen.”

The CSP is securely designed to fully protect personally identifiable information. A common access card reader is required when accessing the portal from a personal computer, allowing users the ability to upload required forms without the risk of identity theft. A virtual private network is not necessary.

“Airmen will not have to wait until the next UTA to file their travel vouchers or ask questions regarding items on their LES,” said Vander Does.

Users can visit https://usaf.dps.mil/teams/SAFFMCSP/portal/SitePages/Home.aspx to update their profile and submit inquiries.

“We think this will be a valuable tool to help our folks get paid faster and resolve any pay issues they may be working through,” said Col. Thom Pemberton, 434th ARW commander. “Having Grissom chosen as a test location is a testament to our outstanding FM professionals and their customer service focus.”

A base wide e-mail is forthcoming, which will contain more detailed instructions on how to set up a profile and use the CSP.

For more information on the CSP, members can reach out to the 434th FM office at (765) 688-2472.

The 434th ARW is the largest KC-135R Stratotanker unit in the Air Force Reserve Command. The Citizen Airmen from the Hoosier Wing routinely deploy around the world in support of the Air Force mission.
