Cutting the ribbon
Griffin Nate, field representative for Congresswoman Jackie Walorski, Indiana State Sen. Stacey Donato, 49th Aerial Port Squadron Commander Maj. Jefre Potterbaum, and 434th Air Refueling Wing Commander Col. Thom Pemberton cut the ribbon outside of Aerial Port’s new facility, officially marking the opening of the building at Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana on 3 June, 2022. The new 11,870 square-foot facility will give aerial porters their own dedicated space to process air cargo, load and unload aircraft and perform joint inspections of cargo and equipment used for air transportation.
