ID cards & DEERS appointments now scheduled online

Comptroller Portal
The 434th Air Refueling Wing Finance Management office launched a new comptroller services portal. Grissom is one of three Air Force Reserve Command test bases going live with the new Air Force CSP on September 9th.

Air Force releases updated fitness test score breakdown
Physical fitness testing will resume July 1, 2021. Several changes have been made to the test to include increasing scoring for push-ups and sit-ups from 10 to 20 points each, five-year age groups and the waist measurement no longer being required. The Air Force has also worked on alternative strength and cardiovascular testing exercise options with plans to announce them in the coming weeks. (U.S. Air Force graphic)

Air Force to allow longer braids, ponytails, bangs for women
Beginning in February 2021, female Airmen will be able to wear their hair in up to two braids or a single ponytail with bulk not exceeding the width of the head and length not extending below a horizontal line running between the top of each sleeve inseam at the under arm through the shoulder blades. EPME Distance Learning
The Thomas N. Barnes Center for Enlisted Education is releasing a new distance learning version of the Airman Leadership School course, ALS DLC 2.0, scheduled for Nov. 30, 2020. Updates to the Long distance versions of Enlisted Professional Military Education are being made to offer increased flexibility.
