2021 Annual Award Winners

434th Air Refueling Wing Airman of the Year Senior Amn Kendall Ranges, non-destructive inspection journeyman, 434th Maintenance Squadron Senior Amn Ranges may have competed in the Airman category, but don’t let that distract you from the fact that this maintenance troop is a leader. During 2021 he mentored his fellow Airmen on analyzing engine oil analysis correlation samples, leading to a 100% lab certification. He also contributed to 1,700 sorties and 7,100 flight hours by evaluating 16 aircraft and ensuring they were mission capable 60 days ahead of the standard. During his time away from Grissom, Ranges is a full time student at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis where he obtained a 3.17 GPA and made the Dean’s list.
