Ribbon cutting

Boom operators from the 434th Air Refueling Wing join with Meredith Perks, a regional director for Sen. Joe Donnelly; John Gilpin, Grissom Community Council president; and Lt. Col. Brian Hollis, 434th Operations Support Squadron chief of plans, to cut a ribbon on opening a new boom operator weapons system trainer at Grissom Air Reserve Base, Ind., Sept. 27, 2013. According to initial Air Force projections, the reduction in flight training will save Grissom an estimated $3 million per year. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Mark R. W. Orders-Woempner)
