GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind., -- Colonel Tim Cox (standing), 434th Air Refueling Wing vice wing commander, talks with members of the Grissom Community Council prior to the start of their base tour on the Nov. 1. The council members received hands on simulator demonstrations at the new radar approach control facility, the KC-135R tanker full motion simulator and briefings from the aircrew flight equipment section. The GCC is a civilian non-profit organization that works in partnership with Grissom to promote programs to benefit both the base and the local community.
