Security screening too?

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind., -- Civic leaders from the law enforcement community line up for security screening before heading out to a KC-135R Stratotanker for an aerial refueling mission. The requirement for security screening of passengers on military flights is the same as at commercial airports. Grissom base operations personnel conduct screening of passengers with the same equipment, policies and procedures as the TSA uses at commercial airports. Twenty-two members of law enforcement agencies across central Indiana had the opportunity to participate in an aerial refueling mission and gain an understanding of the responsibilities and mission of Grissom and its personnel.
