Airlift support for the Air Force Academy

GRISSOM AIR FORCE BASE, Ind., -- A KC-135R Stratotanker and aircrew from Grissom provided Air Force approved airlift for members of the Air Force Academy Women's soccer team to the Addida's Invitational Soccer Tournament at the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The soccer team won one of two games played over the weekend of Aug 28-30. The aircrew consisted of Maj. Kyle Moore, pilot; 1st Lt Joel Webley, co-pilot; Chief Master Sgt. Tony Fansler, boom operator; Tech. Sgt. Jerry Cummings, boom operator; and Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chiefs Tech Sgt. Rod Waikel, Tech. Sgt. Mike McGowen and Senior Airman David Taylor.
