Base plants tree celebrating Arbor Day

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Col. Betty Bowen, Master Sgt. Christopher Rust, Senior Airman Jamia Nalls and Cory Walters plant a tree outside of the base civil engineer building during an Arbor Day ceremony held here recently. Because of Grissom's dedication to maintaining the urban forest and the environment, the base was recently named a Tree City USA for the ninth straight year by the National Arbor Day Foundation. Colonel Bowen is the 434th Mission Support Group commander. Sergeant Rust, Airman Nalls and Mr. Walters are with the 434th Civil Engineer Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Mark R. W.
