Dumpin' dirt...

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Col. Betty Bowen, Senior Airman Jamia Nalls and Cory Walters prepare to dump shovels of dirt into the hole of a tree they just planted during an Arbor Day ceremony held here recently. Because of Grissom's dedication to maintaining the urban forest and the environment, the base was recently named a Tree City USA for the ninth straight year by the National Arbor Day Foundation. Colonel Bowen is the 434th Mission Support Group commander and Airman Nalls and Mr. Walters are with the 434th Civil Engineer Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Mark R. W. Orders-Woempner)
