Motivational Marine speaks to GCC

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Retired Marine Cpl. Josh Bleill speaks with members of the Grissom Community Council recently. Corporal Bleill was wounded by an improvised explosive device shortly after deploying to Iraq and subsequently lost both of his legs. In his address the corporal stated that he did not want his injury to be sum of his life story and found joy in helping and motivating others. Corporal Bleill now spends his time as a community spokesperson for a local professional football team and often gives inspirational speeches to various groups. The community council is a civilian, nonprofit organization that provides support to the military organizations located at Grissom Air Reserve Base, Ind., and is sanctioned by the 434th Air Refueling Wing commander.
