Police education day gives local students unique view

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Megan Mongosa, a sixth-grade student from North Miami Middle/High School, looks through a night-vision monocular at a 434th Security Forces Squadron booth during a National Police Week education day held here May 11. Schools from the local area came to Grissom to take part in the event, which featured agencies such as the U.S. Marshall Service; the Federal Bureau of Investigation; 434th SFS, Department of Natural Resources; and the Peru, Miami County and Indiana State Police departments.
