Grissom police day puts focus on law enforcement

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Alyssa Bishop talks with a friend about a spotting scope she is holding during a National Police Week education day held here May 11. Ms. Bishop is a sixth-grader from the North Miami Middle/High School and was able to view equipment used by the 434th Security Forces Squadron and military police. Grissom hosted the event which featured federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. National Police Week starts on May 9 and culminates with National Peace Officer Memorial Day on May 15.
