GFD trains with medical transport helicopter team

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Members of the Grissom Fire Department and a medical transport helicopter crew pose for a photo during training. The training provided the firefighters with hands-on experience in safely loading patients into a medical transport helicopter even while it was still running. The helicopter crew was based out of Kokomo, Ind., and consisted of a pilot and three flight nurses. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Mark R. W. Orders-Woempner)
