Nigerians get first-hand look at base EM

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Bob Wydock, 434th Civil Engineer Squadron emergency management program assistant, explains to Mohammed Shaba how an Airman?s Manual gives Airmen the tools and knowledge they need to successfully survive and emergency situation. Mr. Shaba is the director of the Nigerian National Emergency Management Agency, which is similar to the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency. He, along with other Nigerian emergency managers, visited the base recently to learn more about how the Air Force responds to emergency situations such as aircraft fires. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech.
