Sergeant saves life, receives AF command award

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Staff Sgt. Joseph Meyer, a 434th Maintenance Squadron pneudraulic systems mechanic, was recently awarded an Air Force command civilian award for valor. The award was given to Sergeant Meyer for his efforts in helping to save a man from bleeding to death after watching two tractor-trailers hit each other on his way to work.
