Employers get inside look to military life, operations

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Jeff Binkley examines the inside of a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle inside the U.S. Army Reserve's 316th Psychological Operations Company's facility here Sept. 27. Mr. Binkley and other employers of reservists and guardsmen were able to tour the 316th PSYOPS facility as well as the Marine Corps Reserve unit and the Air Force Reserve unit here before departing to tour other military installations in Mississippi on an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve bosslift. The bosslift was planned to give outstanding reserve component employers a better understanding of military operations. The mission of the ESGR is to develop and promote employer support for Guard and Reserve service by advocating relevant initiatives, recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of applicable laws and resolving conflict between employers and service members.
