GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- An reserve component servicemember's employer takes a moment to snap a photo of a KC-135R Stratotanker boom prior to boarding the aircraft as part of an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve bosslift Sept. 28. The employers toured Grissom and spent the night on base before taking off for a tour of military facilities in Mississippi including the Air National Guard Combat Readiness Training Center at Gulfport. The mission of the ESGR is to develop and promote employer support for Guard and Reserve service by advocating relevant initiatives, recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of applicable laws and resolving conflict between employers and service members.
