Hooking up EM?

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Hooking together cables, Tech. Sgt. Jeff Lassa connects an antenna with an amplification device onboard an emergency management response trailer here Oct. 1. The amplification system allows emergency managers to amplify the reach of their land mobile radios to almost 25 miles. The response trailer enables Grissom emergency managers to respond to a scene and have everything they need for six days. Sergeant Lassa is a ground radio communications specialist with the 434th Communications Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Mark R. W. Orders-Woempner)
