GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- From the left, Staff Sgt. Christopher Lowery, Senior Airman Christopher Thrower and Staff Sgt. Jeff Schlageter pay tribute to the flag during a retreat ceremony held here during the November unit training assembly. All three Airmen are fire protection specialists with the 434th Civil Engineer Squadron. Retreat ceremonies are held each day at Grissom and serve a two-fold purpose.
