GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Col. William T. "Tim" Cahoon, 434th Air Refueling Wing commander, briefs elected officials, civic leaders, contractors and base personnel on a new air traffic control tower in the radar approach control facility here March 15 before taking part in the tower's groundbreaking ceremony. When complete, the nine-story tower will provide Grissom's ATC with increased visibility, training simulator area, increased security, office space and enhanced environmental controls.
