Updating strips

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Jon Holz, 434th Operations Support Squadron air traffic control specialist, updates his "strips" as he manages air traffic over Grissom Air Reserve Base, Ind., April 12 in Grissom's state-of-the-art radar approach control facility. The strips display aircraft flight plans and help ATC specialists like Mr. Holz manage their flight path. Grissom ATC specialists manage the airspace between Chicago and Indianapolis, going as far west as Lafayette, Ind., up to 10,000 feet. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Mark R. W. Orders-Woempner)
