GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Dan Miller, 434th Civil Engineer Squadron general services and support worker, throws a metal can lid meant for recycling into a bin as he sorts through recyclable materials on base May 2. In 2010, the base recycled more than 174 tons of material including 91 tons of scrap metal, 48 tons of cardboard, 29 tons of paper and 2 tons of used tires.
