GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Civic leaders from Chicago, Detroit and Indianapolis pose for a photo in front of a KC-135R Stratotanker before boarding the aircraft May 18 to take flight with members of the 434th Air Refueling Wing and witness firsthand an aerial refueling mission. During the flight, the civic leaders were able to witness the refueling of a U.S. Navy E-6 Mercury as well as talk to the crew about their experiences in the Air Force Reserve.
