GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Mark Bowen, Hamilton County Sherriff, snaps off a couple shots of an engine on one of Grissom's KC-135R Stratotankers after returning from an orientation flight July 20. During the flight, the civic leaders, which represented a number of areas including Fort Wayne, Peru, Converse, Denver and Kokomo, were able to witness first-hand the mission of the 434th Air Refueling Wing as the crew refueled an E-3 Sentry from Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.
