Grissom Air Reserve Base, Ind. hosted an active threat integrated response course, April 15-17, 2025, bringing in both local and on-base emergency responders. The 27 participants consisted of 434th Security Forces Squadron, Peru Police Department, Miami County Sheriff’s Department, Grissom Fire, Indianapolis, Frankfurt, Monticello, and Sugar Creek Township fire departments, as well as emergency managers from Miami and Grant counties and the Indianapolis Department of Homeland Security.
