Gonzales retires after 30 years of service

Air Force Reserve Master Sgt. Espiridion Gonzales of LaPorte, Ind., recently retired after 30 years of service to his country.

He is the son-in-law of Mary Durham of Michigan City, Ind.

At the time of his retirement, Sergeant Gonzales was a fuel supervisor with the 434th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Grissom ARB. His 30 years of service included time spent on active duty and with the Air Force Reserve Command.

A 1975 graduate of Santa Rosa High School in Santa Rosa, Texas, Sergeant Gonzales also graduated from the Air Force Noncommissioned Office Academy and the Air Force Supervisory Development Course.

The 434th Air Refueling Wing is the largest KC-135R Stratotanker unit in the Air Force Reserve Command and its personnel and aircraft routinely deploy around the world in support of various Air Force missions.
