The event, hosted by Brig. Gen. Dean Despinoy, kicks off at 2:30 pm and includes tours of the KC-135R simulator, tower simulator, and air traffic control scope simulator.  A demonstration of life support equipment, night vision goggles and parachute simulator will also be on the agenda.

The invitation only activity will conclude with a special dinner at "Chocks" community center at 6:30 pm.

Invitations for the event were mailed to community council members.  RSVPs are required and can be phoned in to the Public Affairs Office at (765) 688-3348 or submitted electronically at 434arw.pa@grissom.af.mil

The 434th Air Refueling Wing is the largest KC-135R Stratotanker unit in the Air Force Reserve Command.  The event on November 3 is another in a long line of outreach activities designed to increase local awareness of the wing's mission and impact.
