Free health screenings for military retirees Published April 20, 2008 GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind -- As part of its outreach to the military retiree population in Indiana, Grissom ARB will offer free health screenings April 22, 23 and 24th at the Base Dining Facility, Building 471, from 8 - 11 a.m. The health screenings will be performed by the Indiana University at Kokomo Nursing School. This free activity is open to all military retirees, regardless of what branch of service. Screenings will check for cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, height, weight and temperature. Fasting is required for the cholesterol and blood sugar checks. The free health screenings are another in a series of events at Grissom specifically designed for the military retiree population in Indiana.
