Civilian employers visit Grissom today

  • Published
Businesses from throughout the Midwest will be represented at a special employer support event being hosted by the 434th Air Refueling Wing today.  Representatives from companies in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois and Indiana that employ Air Force Reservists will participate in a base visit that includes special briefings on military-employer support programs and current 434th ARW activities.

The highlight of the day will be a KC-135R Stratotanker flight in which the employers will be able to witness first-hand aerial refueling operations between the tanker and an E-3 aircraft.  All of the events on August 3 are part of the 434th ARW's employer support program.
