Grissom to host live Twitter Q-and-A session tonight Published Dec. 1, 2011 GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- A special Twitter Q-and-A session for those wanting to know more about job opportunities in the Air Force Reserve will be held tonight from 7-8 p.m. "Grissom's Air Force Reserve recruiters have partnered up with the 434th Air Refueling Wing public affairs office to provide a truly awesome opportunity for those thinking about crossing into the blue," said Tech. Sgt. Mark R. W. Orders-Woempner, 434th ARW social media director. "This is a no-holds-barred Q-and-A session where people can ask those tough questions that will help them decide if the Air Force is a good fit for them and help them on that journey." Those considering joining the Air Force are encouraged to tweet their questions to @434ARW. During the session, Senior Airman Jami Lancette, 434th ARW public affairs specialist, will tweet live with potential Airmen and answer their questions. Lancette recently graduated from BMT and technical training school, which will allow her to answer questions with the most up-to-date information. While many recruits ask their recruiters questions, the session on Twitter will allow recruits to talk to someone who was just in their shoes from the comfort of their own homes. "A lot of people are scared of recruiters because they think we're just trying to get them in, which isn't the case," said Staff Sgt. Craig Ridener, 434th ARW recruiter. "They'll actually get to talk to somebody who's living it, doing it and enjoying, and that's so awesome." The 434th ARW is the largest KC-135R Stratotanker unit in the Air Force Reserve.
