State of the Base address just days away Published Jan. 4, 2009 GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind., -- Brig. Gen. Dean Despinoy, 434th Air Refueling Wing Commander, will hold his annual State of the Base dinner on Saturday, January 10. The event is open to Grissom Community Council members, their guests, and other select individuals. Social hour will begin at 6 pm in the first floor reception area of Grissom lodging. Dinner will be at 7 pm with General Despinoy's State of the Base address to follow later in the evening. Capt. Kelly Howard, 434th ARW Public Affairs Officer, will also provide a special presentation recapping GCC events of the past year. Dress for the event is business casual.
