Civilian employers visit Grissom ARB Published June 5, 2009 GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind., -- As part of its outreach and education program, Grissom ARB hosted 24 civilian employers of reserve personnel for a special base visit and KC-135R Stratotanker flight on June 3. Included in the activities was an executive session with Brig Gen Dean Despinoy, 434th ARW Commander, special briefings on GARB's mission, and participation in a KC-135R Stratotanker aerial refueling mission. The Indiana Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve was also on hand to provide a special briefing to the employers as well as Patriot Awards and other mementos. As part of its employer outreach program, Grissom holds events like this on a period basis.
