Chaplain Smith is Officer of the Quarter

Chaplain (Maj.) Obadiah Smith, Jr., was recently selected as the 434th Air Refueling Wing Officer of the Quarter. 

As the chaplain for the 434th ARW, he plans, directs, coordinates and implements local Air Force Chapel programs. He also establishes and manages policies, procedures and requirements for chaplain activities that support the 434th ARW mission.

He has been a member of the Air Force Reserve for 12 years.  His award was presented during a special wing commander's call presided by Brig. Gen. Dean Despinoy, 434th ARW commander.
