Since the founding of our nation in 1776, more than 48 million Americans have served in the armed forces. Nearly one million have made the ultimate sacrifice in combat or combat-related events. Whatever your schedule, please take a moment to reflect on the purpose of Veterans Day and to remember those individuals, and their families, who have served our nation.
