Marines take second in softball tourney

  • Published
The Marines may be a tenant unit at Grissom, but they've jumped into the competitive spirit by becoming involved in sports at Grissom.

The Marines took second place in the annual intramural softball tournament, falling 9-16 to the Grissom Fire Department.

Despite getting down early the Marines fought back to avoid being 'mercy-ruled' by the firemen.

Intramural sports at Grissom are a vital part of the morale, welfare and recreation activities on base.
