AF Band of Flight concert in Wabash

The U.S. Air Force Band of Flight from Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, will be in concert at the Honeywell Center on Thursday, Nov. 10. The Band of Flight performs diverse musical selections including original compositions, popular Broadway tunes, marches, patriotic songs and original transcriptions. 

The concert is free and no ticket is required. The concert starts at 7 p.m. at the Honeywell Center, located at 275 West Market Street in Wabash, Ind.

The Band of Flight is under the command of Maj. R. Michael Mench and performs more than 350 concerts each year for military and civilian audiences. The band's area of responsibility reaches from Michigan to Kentucky and from Indiana to West Virginia, which includes almost one-quarter of the nation's population.

The concert is part of Grissom ARB's community outreach program.

Grissom is home to the 434th Air Refueling Wing, the largest KC-135R Stratotanker unit in the Air Force Reserve Command.
