    Local musicians to be guest performers at AF Band concert

    Seven local high school musicians will be guest performers with the Air Force Band of Flight during a special concert at the Kokomo High School auditorium on Tuesday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m. The Band of Flight is from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and the appearance in Kokomo will be the group’s only performance in the local area this year.

    Tankers support Icelandic NATO operations

    Members of the 72nd and 74th Air Refueling Squadrons are currently filling a five-month rotation to Keflavik Iceland in support of the Iceland Defense Force. The crews and their KC-135R Stratotankers are rotating to Keflavic in two-week rotations to meet Iceland’s defense needs. “We’re about one-third of the way through our Iceland AEF deployment,”
