    The COVID-19 pandemic changed us. It changed the way we work, the way we travel, and the way we interact with one another. While change is often met with resistance, the 434th Communications Squadron embraced the challenge in front of them and stepped up to ensure the information systems used by Grissom Airmen, whether remote or in garrison, stayed connected and protected.

    Deployments are a stressful moment in every military family’s life. These crucial times can be filled with uncertainty and confusion, but a Grissom reserve Airman hopes to bring some peace-of-mind through her new children’s book titled “A Soldier’s Story”. Tech. Sgt. Reyna Lucille, assigned as a paralegal with the 434th Air Refueling Wing, channeled her love for storytelling into a poem to help educate families on what deployments are like through the lens of a service member.
