GALLUP, N.M. -- Senior Airman Trisha Best, an aerospace medical services technician, removes a splinter from the hand of a Grissom civil engineer. Members of the 434th Civil Engineers Squadron are in New Mexico to construct houses for Native Americans and hone their trade. The deployments lets the engineers get hands on training in a variety of areas both in and out of their specialties. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Master Sgt. Chuck Gill)
