Unit markings

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind -- The markings of the 434th Air Refueling Wing adorn the boom of a KC-135R Stratotanker. The boom is used to transfer jet fuel from the KC-135R to receiver aircraft during mid-air refuelings. The 434th ARW is the largest KC-135R unit in the Air Force Reserve Command. (Photo by SrA.
