Groundbreaking ceremony

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind -- A special groundbreaking ceremony was held at Grissom ARB on Oct. 17 for a new $5 million Radar Approach Control Facility. Construction is slated for completion in January 2008. Participating in the ceremony was Brig. Gen. Dean Despinoy, 434th ARW Commander; Matt Prine, staff member for Congressman Dan Burton; Col. Fritz Linsenmeyer, 434th Operations Group Commander; and Col. Max D'La Rotta, Division Chief, Flight Standards, Air Force Reserve Command Headquarters. (U.S. Air Force photo/TSgt Doug Hays)
