Here's looking at you sergeant

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind., -- Lt. Col. (Dr.) Ricardo Salvat, an optometrist with the 434 Aerospace Medicine Squadron, demonstrates how the slit-lamp is used to view corneal abrasions on the eye. The instrument shines a blue light on the eye of Staff Sgt. Jason Geiger, an optometry technician with the 434th AMDS. This light will show any imperfections on the eye that might cause vision problems. A florescent dye is used in the patient?s eye to illuminate the abrasions. (Air Force photo / SrA. Ben Mota)
