GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind., -- Firefighters form the Grissom Fire Department had a confined space exercise in November. The exercise took place in one of the fuel tanks on base. The purpose of the exercise was to see how efficient the fire department was at rescuing a person in a confined space that may be toxic. The fire department performed well in the annual exercise.
