GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- The inside of a local mobile home that burned in a fire near Grissom recently is seen here. Tech. Sgt. Damon Spradlin, 434th Aerospace Medicine Squadron bioenvironmental engineering craftsman, lived nearby the fire and heard an explosion that started it. Spradlin raced into the house looking for anyone trapped inside and found a golden retriever. He picked up the dog and ran out of the house, saving the animal's life. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt.
