Hoosier Wing announces officer promotions

Called upon to be experts in their fields as well as command Airmen, Air Force officers lead the way.

Recently, the 434th Air Refueling Wing announced that five officers were selected for promotion to their next higher rank.

As stated in their congratulatory notifications, these promotions attest to their abilities, performances and future potentials in the Air Force Reserve.

Below are those selected for promotion.

To 1st lieutenant:
- Brandon Giles, 74th Air Refueling Squadron
- John Pedro, 434th Logistics Readiness Squadron
- Timothy Robertson, 74th ARS
- Jeffrey Vincent, 72nd Air Refueling Squadron

To captain:
- Bartholemew Erwin, 434th Civil Engineer Squadron

Dates for pinning on their new ranks will vary.

The 434th ARW is the largest KC-135R Stratotanker unit in the Air Force Reserve Command. Airmen and aircraft from the 434th ARW routinely deploy around the world in support of the Air Force mission and U.S. strategic objectives.
