Grissom personnel support career seminar

Three individuals from Grissom Air Reserve Base Wing participated in a special military career seminar at Peru High School on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. 

The career seminar was sponsored by the Sagamore Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Lieutenant Colonel Doug Schwartz, Air Force Reserve Command; Lieutenant Commander Todd Kinney, U.S. Navy Reserve; and Sergeant First Class Jay Ross, U.S. Army Reserve, participated in the seminar. 

The seminar was aimed at sophomores and freshmen and covered such topics as pros and cons of a military career, traits and skills needed to be successful in the military, educational courses beneficial for a person thinking about a military career, and potential earnings. 

Participation in the seminar is just one a series of on-going events courtesy of the Grissom Air Reserve Base Speakers Bureau.
