Colonel Keithcart to retire

Col. Kerry E. Keithcart, current vice commander of the 434th Air Refueling Wing, will retire this weekend after a distinguished 31-year career.

His retirement ceremony will be Saturday, July 7 at 3 p.m. in Bldg 663.

The colonel began his Air Force career in 1976 and has served in a number of key positions including C-141 instructor pilot, C-5 flight examiner, command post supervisor, safety officer, operations officer, squadron commander and group commander.

Colonel Keithcart is a command pilot with more than 10,000 hours in both military and commercial aircraft.  He has flown the C-5, T-67A, T-37, C-141 and KC-135.  He is also a veteran of Operations Desert Storm and Noble Eagle.
