GCC members to learn about Operations Group

  • Published
Members of the Grissom Community Council will receive a behind-the-scenes look at the 434th Operations Group during their interactive base tour on November 1.

The activities will begin at 2:30 p.m. when GCC members assemble at the base community center (also known as Chocks).  From there, they will visit areas including the KC-135 flight simulator, new Radar Approach Control center and Life Support.

The activities will conclude with a steak diner at Chocks.

The Grissom Community Council is a civilian non-profit group that consists of local community and business leaders.  The group serves as a liaison between the base and the surrounding communities and provides support to various Grissom programs.
