Holiday message from 434th ARW Command Chief Published Dec. 1, 2010 By Chief Master Sgt. Larry Brady GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind., -- As we approach the holiday season, I wanted say a few words to reflect on every Airman's efforts over the past year as an awesome job was done by all! In the year of 2010, Grissom has been through many inspections, training classes, change of leadership and most important, deployments. And, I'm sure next year I could write the same words, just change the years. My only wish to everyone continue approaching each event with the "can do and will do" attitude. And, all will work out fine. As many know family is important to me. Not just my family at home, but my Grissom family. Take time everyday to express kind words to all. The attitudes you carry to work represent not only yourself, but as you wear our uniform, you represent the military. Earlier this year we had a "Wingman" stand down day! What I learned from that day is that we all carry stuff. "Stuff" can be anything we want it to be. Bottom line is this: use your wingman and communicate with them; you can't carry the load yourself. This holiday season is a time to celebrate, a time to forgive and a time to give. Call that family member you haven't seen or heard from for awhile. Reach out into your communities and give back if you're able. And, treat every day with a joyous attitude. Happy holiday's everyone!
